Our Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who manage adult cardiac and respiratory emergencies in high-acuity settings. Taught by experienced clinicians, this course emphasizes a systematic, team-based approach to the recognition and management of life-threatening conditions.

Participants will strengthen their skills in high-quality CPR, advanced airway management, cardiac rhythm recognition, pharmacologic interventions, and post–cardiac arrest care—while integrating the latest evidence-based guidelines and clinical decision-making strategies.

Through interactive case scenarios and hands-on practice, learners gain the confidence to lead or participate effectively during real-world resuscitation events. Successful completion results in an ACLS Provider certification that meets professional and institutional requirements.

Ideal for: Nurses, physicians, paramedics, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other acute care professionals.

You must complete the online course and have proof of completion before skills checkoff can be completed.  

Pre-course work and current ACLS book are required.

AHA e-course: 

Please follow the instructions below to do your Pre-course assessment and Pre-course work and have access to all the study material. This is a new process for ACLS that has just recently changed with the rollout of the most current AHA Guidelines.  This process will look different than any previous ACLS course you may have had.  Now, the videos will be viewed before class through the above link, and you will have more time in class for hands-on skills. The pre-course work can take anywhere from 2-4 hours to complete. Only payment secures your seat.

Use the following steps to access the Student Resources: 

1.    Visit elearning.heart.org/courses.

2.    Find the course name: 2025 ACLS PRECOURSE SELF-ASSESSMENT AND PRECOURSE WORK 

3.    Once you find your course, select Launch Course to begin.

4.    Print completion certificate
