The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course prepares medical professionals to respond confidently to cardiac and respiratory emergencies across clinical settings. This course focuses on high-quality CPR, effective ventilation, early defibrillation, and team-based resuscitation.
Participants practice skills essential for both in-hospital and out-of-hospital environments, including adult, child, and infant CPR, use of bag-mask devices, and coordinated response during multi-rescuer scenarios. Emphasis is placed on rapid assessment, communication, and adherence to current resuscitation guidelines.
Upon completion, learners receive a BLS Provider certification, meeting credentialing and employment requirements for healthcare professionals.
Ideal for: Nurses, physicians, paramedics, EMTs, medical assistants, respiratory therapists, and allied health professionals.

The videos will be viewed before class through the listed link, and you will have more time in class for hands-on skills. The pre-course work can take anywhere from 2-4 hours to complete.
